Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced echocardiography imaging and contribute to comprehensive cardiovascular care in Lexington, Kentucky. You will collaborate with the cardiac team to diagnose and guide treatment for heart failure, rhythm disorders, and acute myocardial events.

Qualifications

• Must possess AS Allied Health or BS in an equivalent field at hire
• Certification in cardiac imaging within 12 months of hire
• BLS/CPR certification within 14 days of hire or as required by hospital

Responsibilities

• Perform state-of-the-art echocardiography imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions
• Report abuse and violence in the workplace as required
• Respond to Code Blue and other emergent events
• Ensure employee health and ergonomics as part of safety protocols
• Attend mandatory safety trainings and comply with radiology policies
