Job summary
Providence is seeking an Echocardiograph Technologist to perform echocardiograms under supervision, obtaining patient information and explaining the procedure. You will review imaging data and measurements to support cardiologist interpretation and may conduct additional diagnostic tests within scope.
The role requires accreditation in echocardiography, ARDMS/CCCI certifications on hire, and BLS. Two years of ultrasound/CV experience preferred; on-site day shifts at St Mary Medical Center-Walla
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Echocardiography or equivalent education/experience.
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) upon hire.
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCCI) upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years Ultrasound/CV experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function.
- Explain the testing purpose and duration to patients.
- Review image data and calculations for provider interpretation.
- Provide other diagnostic testing as defined by scope of practice.
