CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs in Hot Springs, AR, is seeking an Echo Tech/Sonographer responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiography studies and providing high-quality cardiac imaging. You will work to ensure patient comfort while acquiring accurate images and data.

Qualifications

• Two years of college with emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics.
• Completion of 18 contact hours in clinical Echocardiography upon hire.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures (M-Mode, 2D, color Doppler, stress echoes, TEE).
• Prepare patients, report findings to physicians, and administer IV contrast as directed.
• Maintain echo equipment and tracking of logs, billing, and productivity reports.
• Coordinate care across clinics, hospitals, and outreach services; serve as a preceptor for training techs.
• Support policy/procedure updates and capital budget development; provide outreach learning opportunities.
• Pursue continuing education and maintain CME credits (10 per year or 30 per 3 years).
