University Hospital in Newark, NJ seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to perform non-invasive echocardiography on in‑patients and out‑patients, while maintaining equipment and documentation for quality improvement across age ranges from older adolescents to end of life.

The role requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound/echo program, at least one year of hospital experience, and active registration in adult echocardiography.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound School or Echocardiography Technology program.
• At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
• One year of experience in cardiac ultrasound, ECG, stress echo, and T.E.E.
• Must be registered in adult echocardiography.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high‑quality, confidential patient care through non‑invasive echocardiography for in‑patients and out‑patients (older adolescents to end‑of‑life).
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and scheduling of echocardiography equipment and related services.
• Complete accurate documentation for all procedures and support ongoing quality‑improvement tailored to patient’s age and development.
