Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Riverside, CA seeks a certified cardiac sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds and prepare studies for cardiologist interpretation. Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of full-time cardiac ultrasound experience in the last three years.
• Completion of an accredited two-year ARDMS/ARDCS Cardiovascular sonographer program.

Responsibilities

• Performs all echocardiogram procedures including 2D, M-Mode, 3D, Doppler and strain imaging.
• Assists in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and interventional echo procedures.
• Reviews medical records and prior echoes to plan imaging and interpretation.
• Provides patient education and documents procedures and results in the chart.
