Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Non-Registered Echocardiogram Technologist to produce high quality echocardiograms, assist with stress testing, and perform vascular testing. The role requires operating multiple machines, ensuring patient comfort, and communicating effectively with physicians about tests and findings.

The candidate will contribute to continuous quality improvements and participate in required paperwork and billing for procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required with ongoing education.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required; must obtain Cardiac Sonographer certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality echocardiograms per physician request.
• Assist with stress testing procedures and vascular testing.
• Operate multiple machines and computers to perform tests.
• Communicate findings and views with physicians; ensure accuracy of procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and a comfortable environment.
• Support quality improvements and accreditation activities.
