Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; education will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols and exams.
• Prioritize and schedule echocardiography exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and safety.
• Perform ultrasound exams in a timely, quality-focused manner.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment and techniques.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education.
