Qualifications

• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians.
• RVT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Meditech knowledge
• 1 to 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and prepare the results for the physician to read.
• Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system.
• Maintain knowledge and skills, and support the hospital's objectives and goals.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening situations.
• Perform special non-invasive procedures (M‑Mode, 2‑D, TEE, Doppler, Color‑Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, ECGs, and Holter Monitoring).
