Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking an experienced echocardiography technician to assess heart function through comprehensive echocardiograms, measuring chamber size, valve function, and blood flow. You will interpret findings in collaboration with physicians and provide diagnostic support to the care team.

You will prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, ensure comfort, and maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to deliver accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms to assess heart function, including chamber size, valve function, and blood flow.
• Collaborate with physicians to analyze echocardiogram results and provide diagnostic support.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate imaging results.
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and ensure proper cleaning of equipment after use.
