Job summary
Inova Health System is looking for a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join the team in Alexandria, Virginia. This full-time position operates during the day shift, Monday through Friday, with a flexible start time. Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography or five years specialized training.
- Basic Life Support certification required from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification must be obtained within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Administers sound patient care practices according to hospital policies.
- Completes tasks to ensure departmental efficiency and safety.
- Assists physicians in performing examinations according to protocols.
