Kaiser Permanente is seeking a dedicated Sonographer I/II in the San Francisco area to produce two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for physician diagnosis. The role focuses on ultrasound exams across designated disciplines with ARDMS/CCI credentialing and BLS, while maintaining high patient care standards.

Responsibilities include patient prep, equipment setup, image capture, and data entry, with the possibility of orientation of new hires and adherence to safety and quality guidelines.

Formación

• Registered sonographer credentials or equivalent required (see license list).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Nuchal Translucency certification within 3 months for MFM clinics.

Responsabilidades

• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Prepare and position patient for examination.
• Select equipment and transducer according to test specifications.
• Record diagnostic data and images and preserve permanent records.
• Enter test data into ultrasound equipment to maintain patient records.
• Orient new hires and provide training as needed.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
