Job summary

MAIN LINE HEALTH LANKENAU MEDICAL CENTER in Wynnewood, PA is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time, on-site role. You will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic examinations, and support cardiologists with timely reporting.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS or RDCS certification, has a solid foundation in cardiac imaging, and demonstrates attention to infection control and patient safety in a busy cardiology department.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or RDCS certification is required.
• Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography or diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and Doppler techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and, when applicable, stress or transesophageal echocardiograms per protocol.
• Prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and acquire/document diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to support accurate interpretation and timely reporting.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean; follow infection control and QA procedures.
