Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiac Sonography, or related field.
• RDCS credential (ARDMS) and/or CCI.
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Sonography experience.
• Proficiency with echocardiography equipment and sharing studies with cardiology.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Detail oriented with accuracy in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to evaluate function, structure, and blood flow.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain history, and ensure comfort.
• Analyze echocardiographic images and document abnormalities.
• Record and maintain patient information and test results in EHR; prepare reports.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to inform care plans.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment; perform quality checks.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and conditions.
