Valley Health in Winchester, VA seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiographic procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing conditions. This role requires participation in call rotation and call-back testing.

Graduate of a 2–4 year Allied Health program; two years of cardiac sonography experience preferred; ARDMS/CCI certification path required; must communicate professionally with physicians, peers and patients, and be available for call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2–4 year Allied Health training program required.
• Two (2) years training experience in cardiac sonography (echocardiography) preferred.
• Recent graduates of accredited sonography programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiographic techniques/procedures which assist physicians in the diagnosis of medical conditions in patients.
• This position requires participation in call rotation and call-back testing.
