Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or registry eligible.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• One year’s experience in echo and/or ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality diagnostic images, comfort, and care for patients.
• Review requests for appropriateness and verify physician orders.
• Perform procedures in a safe, caring and timely manner.

Skills

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

BLS certification

Experience in echo and/or ultrasound

Education

Registry eligible with completion of certification within 6 months
