Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to perform echocardiograms and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work with physicians to provide timely diagnostic information while maintaining patient records and safety.

The role requires ARDMS certification in Adult Echocardiography, a relevant degree, and 2+ years of experience. Strong communication and independence are essential in our fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• ARDMS certification in Adult Echocardiography.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Echo Sonographer.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate patient records.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
• Analyze and interpret images to identify abnormalities and provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Keep abreast of new developments and techniques in cardiac ultrasound and participate in continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills.

Position Overview

The Cardiac Echo Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiogram procedures on patients and producing high‑quality images for diagnostic purposes. Working Conditions

The individual may be exposed to infectious diseases and must follow all safety protocols and procedures.
