Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Echo Lab Technologist to join the Cardiac Ultrasound team at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. The role performs non-invasive echocardiography studies and collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will handle M-Mode, 2-D and Doppler exams, assist with transesophageal studies, and participate in stress echocardiography as needed. RDCS or RCS certification is required or registry-eligible within one year.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification or registry eligible within one year.
• HS Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler echocardiograms in multiple locations.
• Notify attending physicians of EKG changes or findings requiring action.
• Coordinate daily operation of the echo laboratory and maintain logs.
• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms under conscious sedation.
• Perform exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms as needed.
