Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The Cardiac Testing department collaborates with cardiologists to deliver high-quality services.

The role includes comprehensive patient and family education, care planning, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Ensures communication of the plan of care across the care continuum.

Responsibilities
