Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment and educates patients and families on illness management and home care.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Utilizes nursing skills to assess and address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
