Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Cardiac Device Tech to support an outpatient device clinic, working with physicians, mid-levels and staff to deliver timely patient care.

The role requires specific certifications, BLS within 30 days, and at least 2 years of healthcare or cardiac patient assessment experience. This is a full-time on-site position in Eureka, CA with competitive pay and benefits.

The Cardiac Device Tech works with physicians, mid-levels, clinical staff and office staff to effectively, efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy outpatient device clinic. All procedures and treatments performed must be ordered by the physician, and/or mid-level providers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Health or Science related field Or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
• Upon hire: National Certified Cardiac Device Specialist - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Or
• Upon hire: National Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Or
• Upon hire: National Certified Electrophysiology Specialist - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years of experience in the healthcare and/or assessment of cardiac patients

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and Completion of ATI training
• Upon hire: CCDS certification
