Job summary

HCA Healthcare's West Valley Cardiology Services in Caldwell, ID is seeking a Cardiac Device Technician - Level 1 to diagnose and troubleshoot device issues, educate patients, and manage remote monitoring platforms. The role features a full-time day schedule, no nights, no weekends, and requires strong communication and cardio device knowledge.

You will collaborate with EP nurses and physicians, document device analyses in EMR, and support clinics across regional offices while promoting patient

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year Cardiology experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience analyzing and reprogramming cardiac devices or CCDS/CDRMS preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot device issues and take steps toward resolution.
• Collaborate with EP nurses, physicians, vendor reps and non-physicians with patient care.
• Educate patients on device remote monitoring and follow-up protocols.
• Enrollment and scheduling of patients in remote monitoring platforms.
• Schedule device follow-ups in EMR and contact no-show patients.
• Travel to regional or satellite offices for device clinics.
• Promote positive inter-/intra-department communication.
• Serve as a resource to physicians and staff regarding device patients.
• Maintain equipment and report safety issues.
