The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support the cardiology program across outpatient clinics.

The RN will assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive care for patients with arrhythmias and implanted devices, coordinating with physicians to optimize device performance and patient education. Responsibilities include device interrogation, programming, triage, medication administration, and accurate documentation in IHIS/PACEART while maintaining

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing and current Ohio RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certified.
• 5 years pacemaker/device experience.
• Thorough knowledge of cardiac dysrhythmias and electrophysiology procedures.
• Ability to educate patients and families; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care and develop care plans.
• Perform device interrogation and programming adjustments.
• Triage patient concerns by phone and in clinic.
• Document orders and CPT codes for charge capture in Paceart/IHIS.
• Travel to outlying clinics within a 2 hour radius.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards.
