Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks an experienced RN to support the cardiac electrophysiology program, focusing on device interrogations, programming, and patient care for pacemakers and ICDs in diverse clinical settings.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, EP exposure preferred, and on‑call responsibilities with 8– or 10‑hour shifts between 6:00 am and 6:30 pm, residing within 30 minutes of the location.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive device interrogations and troubleshooting for pacemakers/ICDs/CRTs and loop recorders in various settings.
• Independently reprogram cardiac devices in collaboration with EP physicians and APPs.
• Monitor device function during MRI and restore baseline programming after scans.
• Provide direct patient care by assessing device performance and initiating interventions.
• Conduct remote device interrogations and respond to alerts promptly.
