Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Device CVT to assist the NP and Physicians in managing patients with implantable cardiac devices and to establish a remote monitoring program. Responsibilities include scheduling clinic and remote appointments, monitoring transmissions, and performing interrogation and programming of pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist NP and Physicians in managing patients with implantable cardiac devices.
• Establish and maintain a remote monitoring program including scheduling, billing, downloading and analyzing transmissions.
• Schedule clinic and remote appointments; monitor transmissions and urgent alerts.
• Interrogate and program pacemakers, ICDs and loop recorders under supervision.
