Job summary

SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA, seeks a Cardiac Device Clinic Coordinator (RN or LPN) to manage interrogations and reprogramming of pacemakers, ICDs, Loop Recorders, including remote monitoring.

You will perform initial interrogations, generate reports, document in the EMR, and notify physicians of urgent issues. Requires Georgia license, BLS, and experience with remote device transmissions; RCIS preferred. This is a full-time role in the Cardiac Electrophysiology department.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia nursing license (LPN/RN) required.
• BLS certification currently active.
• RCIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform device interrogations and reprogramming for implanted cardiac devices.
• Monitor remote transmissions and download data to EMR.
• Generate reports and document activities in the EMR.
• Escalate acute/urgent issues to physicians/APPs.
• Maintain and follow clinic policies and procedures.
