Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is expanding its CT Evaluation Center in Norwalk, CT, seeking CT Technologists to perform diagnostic/therapeutic CT procedures and assist the radiology team. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, sterile technique, and collaboration with cardiology colleagues.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center per established protocols to assist the referring physician.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis to produce cross sectional images for radiologist review.
• Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using sterile technique and producing CT images.
