Job summary

You will optimize scans, manage equipment, and document procedures in RIS/PACS, with attention to infection control and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1-year radiology experience.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications, along with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Administer contrast agents and position patients accurately.
• Review images for quality, repeat scans when necessary, and document procedures in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support safety protocols.
• Organize workflow, support department operations, and maintain a clean environment.
