Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Registered or eligible for registration with ARRT or NMTCB.

Responsibilities

Nuclear Medicine - Cardiac CT Tech

As our CT Tech at CHI Memorial, you will help capture diagnostic images from patients to assist Radiologists in accurate diagnosis and ruling out conditions.

You will create cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs daily. Working directly with patients, you'll play a vital role in their experience.

Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging, including workflow, patient positioning, and capturing clear results for timely diagnosis.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform diagnostic procedures such as computed axial tomography, magnetic resonance, interventional radiology, mammography, sonography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and PET.
2. Ensure thorough and accurate patient positioning according to the imaging order.
3. Apply sterile techniques and safety practices consistently for patients and staff.
4. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to prevent failures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program, or within 60 days of graduation.
• Registered or eligible for registration.
• Must obtain CT registration within 1 year of hire through ARRT or NMTCB.
• AHA BLS certification.

Pay Range

$23.98 - $34.78 per hour
