Work Schedule:

The shift is evenings to help with creating availability for more MRI & CT scans until 11 pm. If the schedules are not fully booked out until 11 pm, then you could leave early.

Location:

Advanced Imaging Center - WellStar Kennestone Campus, Marietta, GA 30060

Job Summary:

Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs. Dependability, accountability, and cooperation are essential. Responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing all exams according to department procedures, utilizing proper techniques to obtain quality diagnostic images. Requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Sets up equipment and positions patients for procedures.

Responsibilities include:
  • Obtaining clinical history and assessing contraindications
  • Administering contrast media safely
  • Ensuring proper patient identification and privacy
  • Reviewing images for quality and responding to emergencies
  • Assisting with other modalities as needed
  • Preparing patients and equipment for procedures
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring safety standards
  • Communicating effectively with patients and staff
  • Participating in quality control and documentation
  • Understanding cardiac protocols and adjusting procedures accordingly
  • Restocking supplies and maintaining a clean environment
  • Transporting and positioning patients
  • Performing clerical duties and maintaining regulatory compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited CT program or ARRT-R certification
  • WellStar Cardiac CT training completion
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT Computed Tomography or Radiography certification
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience, preferably in CT
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols
