Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is a leading health system in Washington state. Formed by the integration of two outstanding health systems — CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason — it offers a wide range of hospital, clinic, and care locations across western Washington.

With over 18,000 team members and nearly 5,000 physicians and providers, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health provides expert, compassionate care at 10 hospitals and nearly 300 care sites throughout the Puget Sound region.

Responsibilities

Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

The Center for Cardiovascular Health and the Franciscan Medical Group at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) are hiring a full-time Cardiac CRNA at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. The Center supports over 160 cardiovascular providers across 11 hospitals and nearly 300 care sites in the greater Puget Sound area.

In this role, you will support cardiac anesthesia services primarily in the EP lab and cardiac catheterization labs at SJMC. The program handles nearly 1000 ablations annually, including complex procedures and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion. You will staff the 3 EP labs, with no overnight or weekend call. Oversight will be provided by 6 Cardiac Anesthesiologists supporting the services at SJMC. This is a rare "cardiac-only" model opportunity with a guaranteed salary, joining a nationally recognized, award-winning care team.

We perform over 500 open heart surgeries annually, including many mitral valve procedures. Our active interventional program includes TEE-dependent electrophysiology, structural heart procedures (TAVR, WATCHMAN, Mitra-clip), and other cath lab procedures.
