Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta is recruiting Critical Care Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners for a full-time position primarily working night shifts. As part of Piedmont Heart Institute, you will join a collaborative team providing specialized care to high acuity patients.

Minimum requirements include a graduate degree from a recognized program and a current Georgia state license. The position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for Georgia.
• Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing.
• 3–5 years experience in the CVICU is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Become competent in critical procedures including vascular access and line placements.
• Provide specialized care for patients pre and post cardiovascular surgery.
• Collaborate with a team to manage complex multi-organ problems.

Skills

Knowledgeable in critical care procedures

Strong desire to work in dynamic environment

Competent in vascular access and line placements

Experience with mechanical ventilation

Education

Graduate of a Physician Assistants program

Master's degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioners
