Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant or Nurse Assistant Apprentice to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. You'll take vitals, bathe and dress patients, move them, change linens, and report changes in patient condition, with a competency assessment at the end of training.

Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, prior patient care experience, and Missouri CNA licensing or enrollment, with BLS to be obtained

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior patient care or health care related experience preferred.
• Missouri CNA license or MO CNA Appendix; license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, and change linens.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Complete competency assessment after training.
