Overview

Position Summary: The Technologist I is responsible for operating equipment, ensuring quality assurance, performing radiographic tests, and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures. This role includes managing inventory of equipment and supplies for the cath lab, collaborating with healthcare team members, and maintaining a patient and family-focused approach.

Minimum Qualifications: Pediatric experience preferred. 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred. Interventional Radiology experience preferred. Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Flexibility to work odd shifts as workload demands is necessary.

Equipment involved includes monitors, BP cuff, EKG, warming devices, fluoroscopy, defibrillation systems, physiologic recorders, bi-plane radiographic equipment, 3D angiography software, power injectors, pulse oximeters, point-of-care blood testing devices, Bovie, ultrasonic devices, EP Mapping System, EP stimulator, EP 3D Mapping, and radiofrequency/cryo ablator systems.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program is required. An AS or BS degree in Radiology Technology is preferred. Current BCLS, ARRT certification, CRT certification with CA State Department of Health, and Fluoroscopy Permit are required.

Pay Scale

USD $64,688.00 - $111,706.00
