Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking staff to assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting. You will support the team before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient care and maintain accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and interventional procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Support the team before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in the performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures.

Overview

Executes appropriate patient care by assisting the physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Supports team members before, during, and following procedures to assure optimal patient care. ## Registry may define responsibilities that are specific to each registry but does not limit activities under direct physician supervision.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma/GED required.

Experience: Cardiac catheterization for diagnostic and interventional procedures, cardiovascular patient care, radiographic special procedures and/or hemodynamic monitoring experience accepted

Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment related to changing daily work schedules, emergency and on‑call procedures; working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex cardiac disease; and maintain absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures. Ability to learn techniques quickly and accurately.
