Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse to lead and coordinate high-quality care in the cath lab. You will apply nursing processes, assess patients, plan and implement care, and document outcomes with the health team.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, graduation from an accredited school of nursing, and at least 1 year ICU/Cath Lab experience, with strong communication and clinical skills to support families and staff.

Qualifications

Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

BSN preferred.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effectivenursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
MUST have at least 1 year of ICU/Cath Lab experience
