Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification or state license required
• RCIS or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist required
• BCLS (AHA) certification required at hire and current
• ACLS within 30 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills and cardiovascular lab familiarity
• Prior Cath Lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor vital signs
• Set up and ensure operation of catheters, monitors, and imaging devices
• Explain procedures and position patients for comfort and safety
• Monitor EKGs and hemodynamic data during procedures
• Assist with patient transfers to recovery and provide post-procedure instructions
• Track instrument levels and support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
