Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team delivering lifesaving cardiac procedures with state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography, RCIS, or RCES must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.

Education

ACLS within 90 days

BCLS within 30 days

ARRT-R / RCIS / RCES within 2 years

Associate Degree or work experience in lieu of degree
