Job summary

Indiana University Health in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist graduate to scrub in and assist during invasive cardiac catheterization procedures at Arnett Hospital. You will set up and operate procedural equipment and provide direct patient care, with a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.

Candidates should have high school diploma with postsecondary coursework in anatomy and physiology; CPR/BLS and ACLS as required; knowledge of cardiac procedures,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Posthigh school coursework in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Additional healthcare coursework preferred.
• Professional degree or certification as CST or LPN may be required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Direct patient care experience in cardiovascular setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during invasive cardiac procedures.
• Set up and operate procedural equipment.
• Deliver direct patient care to catheterization patients.
• Scrub in and circulate during procedures; monitor patient status.
