Job Summary

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II is responsible for:

1. Assisting in invasive testing and interventional procedures for diagnosing and treating heart and circulatory system conditions within Cardiac Catheter, CTO, and Structural Heart procedure rooms.
2. Proficiency in Monitoring, Circulating, and Scrubbing functions.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography) or equivalent academic program and experience.

Certifications and Licenses

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac or Vascular Interventional certification.
• Valid BCLS certification required; ACLS certification within six months of hire.
