Job summary

A community healthcare provider is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to work in a certified hospital. Responsibilities include performing cardiac procedures and maintaining equipment. Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a two-year formal radiology training program in an AMA-approved school.
• One year of experience as a staff technologist.
• Current licensure as a radiology technologist in Illinois.
• Registered or eligible for registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with organization, department, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area.
• Perform intra-procedural responsibilities for cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology studies, and pacemaker/ICD insertion.
• Perform special radiographic procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
