Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA seeks a Registered Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a full-time day shift. Schedule includes 4 10’s with on-call requirements and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Requirements include RCIS preferred or equivalent registration (Cardiovascular Tech, RRT, or Paramedic), BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association, and completion of an approved cardiovascular, respiratory, or paramedic program. Cath lab experience is required.

Qualifications

• RCIS certification preferred; must be Registered Cardiovascular Tech, RRT or Paramedic to be eligible.
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association only.
• Education: Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, or Respiratory program or Paramedic program.
• Experience: Cath lab Tech experience required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab and ensure studies are performed and documented safely and professionally per department policies.
• Ensure procedural compliance with all nationally published standards.

Position Summary

What You Will Do

• Is responsible for the day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab and ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards. .

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: RCIS certification preferred. Must be Registered Cardiovascular Tech, RRT or Paramedic to be eligible for the position.

BLS and ACLS certified, thru American Heart Association (only)

• Education: Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, or Respiratory program or Paramedic program.
• Experience: Must have Cath lab Tech experience to be considered for this position.
