Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology is mandatory.
• Current RT License and BLS/ACLS certifications needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate, and document various cardiac procedures.
• Follow institutional policies and procedures for patient care.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the direct and indirect patient care duties assigned to them, following the policies and procedures of the institution. The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will assist with patient care, including but not limited to the following: scrubbing, circulating, and documenting diagnostic and interventional heart caths, peripheral, PFO, ASD, TAVR, EKOS, Impella, TEE, cardioversion, IVC filter, pericardiocentesis, IABP, CardioMEMS, temporary pacemakers, and valvuloplasty procedures.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• Current License as RT in the State of Texas
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous cath lab and patient care experience
