Job summary

The Employee Connect is recruiting a Cardiac Interventional Radiographer - Scrub for a permanent, on-site role in the Portland, OR area. You will scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the cath lab, prepare sterile fields, and support physicians with devices while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT registration, an Oregon radiologic technologist license, and has cath lab scrub experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in radiography.
• Active Oregon radiologic technologist license, or eligible before start.
• Cardiac cath lab scrub experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to wear lead aprons and stand for long procedures.
• Willingness to take call as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare sterile fields, instruments, catheters, and devices for each case.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment following radiation safety practices.
• Assist physicians with stents, balloons, and closure devices.
• Monitor patients and respond quickly to changes during procedures.
• Maintain supplies, equipment readiness, and room turnover.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record.
