Job summary

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in Texas is seeking a day shift, full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The nurse will plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care, coordinate with patients and families, and communicate changes in clinical status to physicians and the nursing leadership.

Requirements include Texas RN licensure, or a multi-state license, with a BSN to be completed within four years.

Qualifications

• Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
• RN license with Texas Board of Nursing or a multistate license via the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience; critical care experience preferred.
• Must obtain BSN within four years of date of hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinarity staff as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
