Research Medical Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab. Join a team delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Responsibilities include nursing care coordination, medication administration, vital signs, EKG monitoring, and post-procedure education. Requires Kansas RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications; cath lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Cardiac cath lab and post-procedure nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides nursing care in the Cardiology Department.
• Administers medications and monitors vital signs and EKG.
• Performs post-procedure assessments and patient education.
• Responds within 30 minutes when on standby and assists in other cath lab duties.
• Documents nursing records and participates in performance improvement.
