Job summary

Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse in Alaska to deliver and supervise safe, individualized patient care in alignment with the nursing process. You will assess, treat, and coordinate the care plan across the healthcare team while involving families as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska RN license required on hire.
• BLS certification on hire (American Heart Association).
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise safe, high-quality patient care following the nursing process.
• Access, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care with the health care team.
• Include families/significant others in the plan of care where appropriate.
• Direct, delegate and manage care delivered by colleagues and subordinates.
