Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth seeks a Registered Nurse for invasive cardiology, delivering comprehensive patient care within a high‑acuity setting in Bolingbrook, IL. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and post‑procedure support while maintaining thorough documentation and patient education.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 1+ year nursing experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
