Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) at Anderson Hospital to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assess patients, implement treatment plans, and ensure safe, therapeutic care.

Strong nursing foundation and licensure are required; BLS/ACLS credentials preferred or obtainable within specified timelines. This role includes on-call duties on weekends, nights, and holidays, with rapid response

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care, ACLS required within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient care.
• Conducts and analyzes initial and ongoing patient assessment, creates a plan of care, implements treatment, and evaluates treatment effectiveness.
• Synthesize and prioritize information to take evidence-based, patient-focused action.
• Anticipate and respond to changing patient conditions with clinical judgement.
• Participate in on-call system for weekends, nights, and holidays; respond to STEMI call backs in <30 minutes.
• Administer medications safely per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
