Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice in Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated nurse to deliver specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-assessment and readiness checks.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures; recognize and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed and manage related therapy.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and ensure safe, appropriate patient status.
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately and completely.
• Educate patients and families on care needs, procedures, and post-care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate care.
