Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This 20-hour daytime role supports high-acuity cardiovascular care with advanced tech and a patient-centered care model.

You will provide bedside nursing, monitor hemodynamics, perform post-procedure care, and participate in quality improvements while meeting BMC safety, licensure, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• RN Massachusetts license current; BLS and ACLS required
• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); BSN within 4 years.
• 3-5 years Interventional Cardiac Lab experience required; Critical Care preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects
